Texas League of Young Voters with Presiding Judge The Honorable Kenneth Hoyt at the U.S. Naturalization Ceremony

On July 31, the Texas League of Young Voters assisted the League of Women Voters in registering to vote new sworn-in U.S. citizens at the U.S. Naturalization ceremony. A total of 1,629 voter registration forms, of the 2,100 citizens who were sworn in, were completed and submitted. It was indeed a great experience for the Texas League to be on hand to talk with the new citizens about their constitutional right to vote in America and how to be active members of the democratic process.
