The League of Young Voters in partnership with the A3C Festival will wrap up the #Ignite2012 tour in the Dirty South on Thursday, October 11, at The Masquerade.

The livestreaming political panel called #Ignite2012: From the Blogs to the Blocks will feature Goldie Taylor (MSNBC, The Grio), Shaheem Reid (XXL Magazine), Dallas Penn (Hip Hop Wired), Janee Bolden (Bossip.com), DeWayne Rogers (RollingOut Magazine), Bryyce (T.I.’s brother) and Orlando McGhee (talent manager for Future). These tastemakers will discuss the role of hip-hop culture in an era where young voters appear to be less engaged in politics.
