We’ve got some good news for all the #WatchTheThrone Jay-Z and Kanye fans! The Watch The Throne tour is kicking off right here in Atlanta, and the League has partnered with our friends at Headcount to obtain special volunteer passes to this Saturday’s show in ATL.

Here’s the deal: We’re going to be registering voters at the show on Saturday night at Phillips Arena. Everyone who volunteers will get a working pass to the event (note: NOT a straight-up ticket, but we’ll be inside the venue). Space is limited…so what are you waiting for?!

On November 8th, we will have the opportunity to elect the leaders who will lead our city for the next two years. The Texas League was onsite at the Greater Houston Partnership’s Houston Young Professionals Endeavor (HYPE) Meet the Candidates event on October 25 at the Downtown Aquarium. Young professionals were able to mix, mingle and learn about the candidates and where they stand on the issues. The Texas League team checked attendees voter registration status, informed them of their nearest polling location, handed out sample ballots, and shared opportunities about how young people can become engaged.
